Tamilnadu Governament Announced Stated Awards For 2007-2008

The Government of Tamil Nadu has announced the State Awards for the year 2007 and 2008 respectively. Actors Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan have won the Best Actor awards for 2007 for Sivaji and 2008 Dasavatharam respectively.

The best dialogue writer award for the year 2008 was given to Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi for his work Uliyin Osai. Former judge of the Madras High Court, Justice AK Rajan, headed the awards committee.
